"I know the plans I have for you’ declares the LORD, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to provide a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
I’m so grateful for His plans for me, they’ve led me here.
With Rhyan’s diagnosis, we faced many decisions. We chose the cochlear implant with the desire to obliterate as many obstacles in her path as we possibly could. With the remarkable success of her first implant, we made the choice to go ahead with her second implant.
We had no idea the fight we were about to take on. Our insurance company told us that two hearing "ears" were medically unnecessary. It took a year of pain and heartache and a drawn out legal fight to win our battle. Rhyan was finally approved for her second "ear".
We know the difference one "ear" makes, and we know the difference two "ears" make. Hearing changes children’s lives in more ways than we will ever fathom. Because of this, we also know that we want every child to be able to have two "ears" if the family so chooses.
Rhyan’s Hope was formed to raise funds in order to ensure that these children have every opportunity to the best quality of life possible. We welcome you to be a very real part of the lives of every child that comes to us seeking that dream.
